Senior Basketball will be played on Thursday 3rd October 2024 in a one day tournament. Teams will play in a round robin competition with playoffs for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th placings for each grade at the conclusion of the round robin. 

Teams will consist of:

Mens Division (A minimum of 7 players required)

Mixed Division (Mixed teams will require two females on court during the game).

There will be no women division played this year.

Referees:

Each team is to provide a competent referee and their own whistle, or pay for officiating services (if they are available on the day).

Refs will officiate their own team games. Failure to provide a competent ref may result in a default win to the opposing team.

Scorebench Duties:

All teams are to provide one person to provide score bench duties for their own games..Failure to provide a competent score bench person may result in a default win to the opposing team.

Basketball Rules:

The FIBA Basketballs rules will apply at this tournament.

Dress Code:

Teams must wear appropriate  basketball uniform attire on court.  All players are also to wear a mouthguard.

Code of Conduct:

The coaches and managers are responsible for their players behaviour on and off the court.  The referees decision is final.
